Carboneids produzierte zwischen 1999 und 2001 über 60 Tracks, von denen die interessantesten auf den zwei CDR´s "and dark nights 1 und 2" veröffentlicht wurden. Und was da zu hören ist, ist Elektronica in Reinform. Sequenzer auf sequenzer, analoge Drums, Vocoder und DIE Vintage-Sounds vergangener Tage. Verrükte Melodien, SID-Effekten usw. lassen eine Reise in die Zeit von Atari, Amiga, C-64 & Co wahr werden. Echte Harmonien sucht man dabei beinahe vergebens. Dafür entschädigt das Album mit den wohl ungewöhnlichsten Klängen und Loops, die aus einer Zeit zu stammen scheinen, in denen sich Computer und Synthesizer gerade erst kennen lernten. Experimentelle Synthesizer-Musik mit Hang zum Oldschool-Spiele-Klassiker... Asteroids lässt grüßen.

The result is electronica in its most pure form. One Sequencer after the other, analogue drums, vocoder and THE vintage sounds of past days. Crazy melodies, SID-effects etc. make the dream of a journey to the times of Atari, Amiga, C-64 & Co come true. Real melodies can hardly be discovered. But the listener gets reimbursed with and album of most inconvenient sounds and loops that originate in a time, where computer and synthesizer just met.
