Liebe Kunden,

vor 4 Monaten wurde unser Zuhause von einer schweren Flutkatastrophe getroffen. Das Wasser Stand über 1,5 Meter hoch in unserem Haus. Dabei wurde das Erdgeschoss, Keller, Garage, Werkstatt, Außenanlage, Autos, Heizung, Elektrik und Garten zerstört und zum Teil mit ausgelaufenem Heizöl kontaminiert. Ich habe nun 4 Monate lang jeden Tag 10 bis 14 Stunden gearbeitet um die Schäden zu reparieren und zu einem halbwegs normalen Leben zurück zu kehren. Dieser Zeitpunkt ist so langsam gekommen.

Ich entschuldige mich für jede bisher nicht erfolgte Antwort und nicht ausgelieferte Bestellung. Ich musste mich kurz nach der Flut entscheiden, wie es weiter geht. Dabei habe ich schnell erkannt, daß es für mich unmöglich sein würde den Wiederaufbau, meinen Job und die Arbeit an meinem Label gleichzeitig zu bewältigen. Zudem benötigte ich auch Zeit die schlimmen Erlebnisse in der Nacht und den ersten Tagen nach der Flut zu verarbeiten. Deshalb bitte ich nochmals um Verständnis dafür, dass es bisher zu keinen Auslieferungen von Bestellungen gekommen ist und ich grundsätzlich keine Fragen von Euch beantwortet habe. Diese Versäumnisse werde ich nun nachholen. Ich bin zuversichtlich, dass ich innerhalb der nächsten 10 Tage alle Bestellungen abarbeiten und alle Fragen beantworten kann.

Wenn dies geschafft ist werde ich gemeinsam mit den Musikern auf meinem Label die noch offenen Veröffentlichungen planen und ankündigen. Es geht also weiter…

Dear customers,

4 months ago our home was hit by a severe flood. The water stood over 1.5 meters high in our house. The first floor, basement, garage, workshop, exterior, cars, heating, electrical and garden were destroyed and partially contaminated with leaked heating oil. I have now worked 10 to 14 hours every day for 4 months to repair the damage and return to a semi-normal life. That time has come so slowly.

I apologize for any response and undelivered order to date. I had to decide shortly after the flood how to proceed. I quickly realized that it would be impossible for me to manage the reconstruction, my job and the work on my label at the same time. In addition, I also needed time to process the bad experiences during the night and the first days after the flood. Therefore I ask again for your understanding that there have been no deliveries of orders so far and that I basically did not answer any questions from you. I will now make up for these omissions. I am confident that I will be able to process all orders and answer all questions within the next 10 days.

When this is done I will plan and announce the still open releases together with the musicians on my label. So it's going on.

  Liebe Freunde der Elektronischen Musik,

das Heim von MellowJet-Records wurde in der Nach vom 14. zum 15. Juli durch eine Flutkatastrophe getroffen. Wir drei sind wohl auf, und auch in unserer Familie und Freundeskreis gibt es zum Glück keine Todesopfer zu beklagen. Das ist das Wichtigste. Trotzdem: Unser Keller, unsere vollständige erste Etage, sowie Garage, beide Fahrzeuge und Garten wurden von der Flut zerstört. Wir haben die letzten Woche versucht das Verbliebene zu retten. Vieles davon ist für immer verloren: Zum Beispiel meine Schallplatten/CD-Sammlung, meine Tagebücher und viele Erinnerungstücke. Derzeit leben wir in meinem Studio, welches sich in der obersten Etage unseres Hauses befindet und vom Wasser verschon wurde.

Der Wiederaufbau unseres zu Hause läuft langsam aber stetig voran. Dies haben wir uns selbst und insbesondere den zahlreichen Helfern zu verdanken. So langsam schwinden unsere Kräfte, und es beginnt die Zeit das Erlebte zu verarbeiten. Auch werden uns so langsam die Konsequenten bewusst.

In den nächsten Wochen wird es uns nicht möglich sein Waren zu verschicken, da es schlicht und einfach keine Poststation in unserer Nähe gibt. Downloads in unserem Shop und auf Bandcamp funktionieren natürlich nach wie vor weiter.

Wer uns finanziell unterstützen will kann dies via Download tuen. Mein und unser Label werden diese Katastrophe überstehen. Ich bin zuversichtlich, daß wir in ein paar Wochen wieder in den Regelbetrieb übergehen können.

Bereits getätigte Bestellungen werden wir so schnell wie möglich abarbeiten.

 Dear friends of electronic music,

the home of MellowJet-Records was hit by a flood disaster in the night from July 14th to 15th. Me and my family are well up, and fortunately there are no casualties in our family and friends circle either. That is the most important thing. Nevertheless: Our basement, our complete second floor, as well as garage, both vehicles and garden were destroyed by the flood. We have spent the last week trying to salvage what was left. Much of it is lost forever: for example, my record/CD collection, my diaries, and many mementos. Currently we are living in my studio, which is on the top floor of our house and was spared from the water.

The reconstruction of our home is progressing slowly but steadily. We owe this to ourselves and especially to the numerous helpers. Slowly our strength is dwindling and it is time to process what we have experienced. We are also slowly becoming aware of the consequences.

In the next weeks it will not be possible for us to send goods, because there is simply no postal station near us. Downloads in our store and on Bandcamp will of course still work.

If you want to support us financially you can do so via download. Mine and our label will survive this catastrophe. I am confident that we will be able to go back to regular operations in a few weeks.

Already placed orders will be processed as soon as possible.

< EN PRICEDROP: Die Deutsche Bundesregierung hat eine Reduzierung der Mehrwertsteuer von 19% auf 16% vom 1. Juli bis zum 31. Dezember 2020 beschlossen. Somit senken auch wir die Preise für unsere Produkte (CDs, DVDs und Downloads) für diesen Zeitraum. Wir haben alle Preise um 50 Cent gesenkt. Das sind somit mehr als 3%... ;o)

COVID-19

EN: Dear friends of electronic music,

these are extraordinary times. None of us yet knows how the extent of the corona pandemic will determine our daily lives in the coming weeks and months. Everyone of us feels, directly or indirectly, the changes in our daily lives. And with this I do not mean only the personal fate of those of us who are ill, but also the economic and social consequences that this pandemic will have. We are already experiencing a dramatic decrease in sales. Therefore: We will continue to provide you with reliable postal delivery as usual. Our download shop is of course available for you 24/7. New publications will also be released as planned.

I think: The day will come when we will look back to all this. How, when and with which feelings this will be, we can only wait and until then we can only contribute our best to it. Even if music is not the most important thing in life at the moment, it is perhaps a valuable companion, especially in these times, which makes us forget the everyday life for a few moments. This is my and our modest contribution to this crisis.

Und damit meine ich nicht nur die persönlichen Schicksale eines jeden Erkrankten sondern auch die wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Folgen, die diese Pandemie haben wird. Bereits jetzt können auch wir einen dramatischen Umsatzrückgang verzeichnen. Deshalb: Wir werden Sie weiterhin und wie gewohnt zuverlässig postalisch beliefern. Unser Downloadshop steht Ihnen selbstverständlich 24/7 zur Verfügung. Neue Veröffentlichungen werden, wie geplant, auch erscheinen.

Ich denke: Es wird der Tag kommen, an dem wir auf all das zurück blicken werden. Wie, wann und mit welchen Gefühlen das sein wird, können wir nur abwarten und bis dahin nur unser Bestes dazu beitragen. Auch wenn Musik im Moment nicht das wichtigste im Leben ist, so ist sie vielleicht gerade in diesen Zeiten ein wertvoller Begleiter, der den Alltag für ein paar Momente vergessen lässt. Dies ist mein und unser bescheidener Beitrag zu dieser Krise.
