 Im Februar 2009 spielte ich ein erstes Konzert im Zeiss Planetarium Bochum. Die Resonanz der Zuschauer und Gäste war mehr als positiv, sodaß ich eine Einladung für das Abschlusskonzert des Jahres 2010 vom Planetarium Bochum und vom Veranstalter dem schellwende e.V. erhielt. Hatte ich in 2009 nur ein paar Wochen Zeit ein Konzert vorzubereiten, so wurde mir dieser zweite Termin bereits im Sommer 2010 mitgeteilt.
So motiviert produzierte ich in den letzten Monaten die Musik zum Konzert mit dem Titel "HELLO 2011", und es entstand das Projekt "Cosmologica". Der Titel ist als eine Homage an meine Alben "Cosmoclimax" und "Teralogica" zu sehen. Und das nicht ohne Grund: "Cosmologica" sollte zum einen wieder die naiv-verspielten Ideen meines Debutalbums fortführen und gleichzeitig den eleganten und ausgereiften moonbooter-Sound meiner letzten Alben besitzen. Zudem sollte "Cosmologica" in die bekannt fantastische Planetariums-Atmosphäre passen ohne meinen rythmusbetonten Sound zu verleugnen. Ich verwarf alles was ich über Spacemusik bis dato wusste, denn pure Spähren und Flächen kann und wollte ich einfach nicht. Es soll etwas passieren. Man soll die Musik hören, führen und erleben. Das hatte mit Cosmoclimax bereits funktioniert. Es galten keine Regeln. Inspiration war nur die Vorstellung darüber, was ich selbst unter dem Sternenhimmel gerne höre. Dabei halfen mir wissenschaftliche aber auch phillosophische Vorträge über Quasare, das interstellare Medium, schwarze Löcher und vieles mehr in über 200 faszinierende Folgen "Alpha Centauri". So saß ich so manche Sommernacht draußen und blickte in den Himmel um gleich darauf musikalische Ideen zu skizzieren. Das hat einfach Spaß gemacht und das hört man auch. Ohne darüber nachzudenken verwendete ich wesentlich mehr akustische Instrumente und spielte dabei auch die Gitarren selbst ein. Zusammen mit elektronischen Klängen enstand eine Symbiose in der man beide Welten kaum unterscheiden kann. Diese Gegensätze führte ich konsequent mit teils melancholischen aber auch humorvollen Melodien weiter. "Cosmologica" ist ein fesselndes Spacealbum geworden, daß nicht nur musikalisch sondern auch wieder einmal Soundtechnisch überzeugt.
 When I played my first concert at Zeiss Planetarium Bochum in February 2009, the feedback from the audience and guests was more than positive. So, I of course accepted the invitation of Planetarium Bochum and the host schallwende e.V. for the year-end concert 2010. Only having short preparation time in 2009, I already knew the date for this year’s concert in summer 2010. Highly motivated I produced the music for this concert with the title “HELLO 2011” during the last months and the project “Cosmologica” developed. This title can be regarded as homage to my albums “Cosmoclimax” and “Teralogica”. And that on purpose: “Cosmologica” is supposed to continue the naïve-coltish ideas of my debut album and moreover owns the elegant and mature moonbooter-sound of the latest albums. Furthermore, “Cosmologica” should fit into the well known fantastic Planetarium-atmosphere without denying my rhythm-oriented sound. I refused all my knowledge about Space Music, as pure spheres and flats were not my intention. Something should happen. Music should be heard, felt and experienced. That already worked with “Cosmoclimax”. No rules. I was only inspired by my imagination of what I wanted to listen to underneath the starry sky. Scientific and partly philosophic lecture about quasars, the interstellar medium, black holes and much more from more than 200 episodes of “Alpha Centauri” helped in a way. So, I spent some summer nights outside observing the sky to sketch musical ideas instantly. That was fun which also reflects in the music. I automatically used more acoustic instruments and played even the guitar parts myself. Together with electronic sounds a symbiosis had been created in which both worlds cannot be differentiated. These differences have been continued consequently with partly melancholic but also humorous melodies. “Cosmologica” became a captivating space album, which convinces musically and sound-technically.
