 Wer sich bereits mit der Musik von Harald Nies beschäftigt hat, wird wissen, daß Herr Nies ein Freund der Formen ist. Neben Fractal, Axial oder Torodial geht es nun um eine weitere mathematische Form: den Kreis. Somit erklärt sich der Titel seines neuen Albums „The Circle“. Musikalisch spielt die Mathematik keine Rolle. Viel mehr ist seine Musik frei von allem. Für Harald Nies scheint es keine Regeln zu geben. In 11 Stücken zelebriert er seine ganz eigene Art der Elektronischen Musik. Rhythmisch, melodisch, sequenzerlastig, episch, alles getragen durch eine leichte aber immer positive Melancholie und den für ihn typischen Groove. Sehr zu empfehlen.
 Anyone who has already studied the music of Harald Nies will know that Mr. Nies is a friend of forms. In addition to Fractal, Axial or Torodial, there is now another mathematical form: The Circle. This explains the title of his new album. Musically, mathematics plays no role. Much more his music is free of everything. For Harald Nies there seem to be no rules. In 11 pieces he celebrates his very own kind of electronic music. Rhythmic, melodic, sequencer-based, epic, all carried by a light but always positive melancholy and his typical groove. Very recommendable.
