AMBIENCE, das sechste auf MellowJet-Records erhältliche Album von Erez Yaary, enstand 2006
und entführt uns in unterschiedlichste urbane und weltliche Atmosphären. Dabei verlässt Erez nicht
die Erde, sondern bleibt bodenständig und holt seine Inspiration aus Dingen, die uns umgeben. Teils
düster, mal heiter, nie chaotisch aber immer melodisch sind die sechs Songs zwischen 5 und 18
Minuten Spiellänge. Dabei weiß Erez wie elektronische Musik in der Jetztzeit klingen sollte. Typische
Sequenzen und Rythmen werden gekonnt mit Sounds aus den Genres Chillout und Ambient aufgelockert
und sorgen so für eine besondere Stimmung. AMBIENCE ist urbane Elektronik, die sich an alt bekanntes
anlehnt und ganz neue Impulse zulässt. Für mich persönlich das interessanteste Album vom israelischen
Künstler "Erez Yaary".

and spiritually. This album captures the essence of ambience in some of its forms, brings to
the listener a grasp of its true nature.
