DE: Lieber Hörer,
ein paar persönliche Worte zu diesem Album...
Das Schicksal ist allgegenwärtig. Irgendwann trifft es einmal jeden von uns, und das umso stärker man selbst liebt oder geliebt wird. Zu viele Sekunden unseres Lebens vergehen ohne einen wirklichen Sinn. Man verliert sich in belanglosen Dingen und übergeht dabei die Momente die wirklich wichtig sind oder es hätten werden können. Und dann, wenn sich plötzlich alles und ohne Vorwarnung ändert, beginnt man nachzudenken, eigene Fehler zu sehen, sich an das Schöne der Vergangenheit zu erinnern, eben an die Momente zu denken, die wirklich wichtig waren. Zum Glück hatte ich diese Zeit. Und wir haben sie gemeinsam genossen.
Seit dem Tod meiner Mutter im August 2013 ist es mir nicht mehr möglich an einen Gott zu glauben, von dem ich immer dachte, daß wir und vielleicht auch ich ihm wichtig sind. Vielmehr ist es vermutlich das Schicksal selbst, das nimmt aber auch gibt. So überlebten mein Sohn und ich den Blitzeinschlag im Juni 2013 in unser Haus unverletzt. Zufall, Fügung, Glück, Schicksal oder vielleicht doch der Engel? Wer kann das mit Sicherheit sagen?
Vermutlich ist jeder von uns nur ein Blatt im Wind, das unwillkürlich irgendwann, irgendwo niederfällt und still und leise vergeht. Die Songs auf diesem Album erstanden alle aus diesen und vielen weiteren meiner Gedanken und Gefühlen des letzten Jahres.
Ich widme dieses Album meiner geliebten Mutter, meiner besten Freundin.

a few personal notes to this album ...
Fate is omnipresent. Some day everybody of us will be concerned. And the more you love or are beloved, the stronger it hits You.Too many seconds of our lives pass away without any sense. You lose yourself in trivial things and pass the moments that really matter, or could have been. And then, when suddenly everything changes without a warning, You begin to think, to see own mistakes , to remember the beauty of the past, just think of the moments that really mattered.
Thankfully I had this time. And we enjoyed it together. Since my mother's death in August 2013, it is no longer possible for me to believe in a God, who is controlling the fate of any creature in universe. Rather it's probably the fate itself, that´s taking but also giving. So my son an me survived unharmed the lightning strike in June this year in our house. Chance, coincidence, fortune, luck, fate or perhaps the angel? Who can say for sure?
Probably each of us is just a leaf in the wind of time and universe that involuntarily falls down to earth at any time at any place, and quietly fades away. The songs on this album all arose from these and many more of my thoughts and feelings of the past year.
I dedicate this album to my beloved mother. She has always been my best friend .
