Es ist das Internationale Astronomische Jahr und auch das Jahr, in dem
Bernd Kistenmacher sein 21. Solo-Album „Celestial Movements“ veröffentlicht.
Inspiriert durch das gigantische und zugleich phantastische Horizont-Observatorium
im Landschaftspark Hoheward im Ruhrgebiet, hat der 49-jährige Berliner
einen Soundtrack für die Sterne geschrieben, der seinesgleichen sucht.
Einen ersten Vorgeschmack bot Bernd Kistenmacher seinen Fans bereits Ende
Oktober 2009 in dem Pariser Kult-Club "La Boule Noire", wo er sein
neues Album der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt hat.
Wer
bis dahin erwartet hat, von längst abgenutzten Klangmustern der vergangenen
EM-Ära berieselt zu werden, wurde sicherlich angenehm enttäuscht.
Bernd Kistenmacher schöpft aus dem Unerwarteten Inspiration und überrascht
seine Zuhörer mit immer neuen Brückenschlägen zwischen den
unterschiedlichsten Klangwelten.
Seine
Musik ist vieles: mal meditativ, mal klassisch, mal kurzweilig oder bombastisch,
manchmal aber auch leise und melancholisch. Eines ist seine Musik aber
auf alle Fälle:
traumhaft
schön.
Wir
sind uns sicher: wer die exakt 68 Minuten dieses herausragenden Werkes
genossen hat, wird schnell wieder auf Anfang gehen, denn „Celestial Movements“
ist Bernd Kistenmachers bislang bestes Solo-Album. Und das will man nicht
nur einmal hören.

Berliner wrote a soundtrack for the stars, that is incomparable.
A
first foretaste was offered to Bernd Kistenmacher’s fans already end of
October 2009 at the cult-club “La Boule Noire” in Paris/France, where he
presented his new album to public. The one’s who had expected to be sprinkled
with long ago battered sound patterns, has for sure been comfortably disappointed.
Bernd
Kistenmacher takes his inspiration from the unexpected and surprises his
audience with ever new bridgings between the different soundscapes. His
music offers many aspects: once meditative, once classic, once entertaining
or bombastic, but sometimes also silent and melancholic. But it is one
thing by all means: wonderfully dreamlike. We are sure: the one who enjoyed
the exact 68 minutes of this masterpiece will return to the beginning very
quickly, because “Celestial Movements” is Bernd Kistenmacher’s so far best
solo-album. And that needs to be reheard not only once.
