Mit der Images-Trilogie definierten die Musiker Mikki Meuser und Hans Engel bereits 1994 den Begriff "Ambient" neu. Die drei CD´s sind gefüllt mit Songs und eben nicht mit vielleicht zu erwartenden Klangcollagen. Dabei steht jeder Teil (the Picture, the Ambience, the Song) für sich und widmet sich durch immer warme und betont akkustische Sounds einem eigenen Thema. Mit starken und eingängigen Melodien, die man getrost als seichte, instrumentale Popsongs beschreiben kann, bietet jeder Track Melodien, die sofort ins Gehör gehen. Von lässigem Chillout bis hin zu Cafe del Mar -ähnlichen Strandklängen wird hier ein vielfältiges Spektrum an Songs geboten, deren Substanz musikalisch perfekt inszeniert wurde und auch heute noch up-to-date ist. 

Das Album wurde mit hohem technischem Aufwand neu gemastert und das Artwork ersetzt. 

With their „Images“-trilogy both musicians Mikki Meuser and Hans Engel gave a new definition to “ambient” already in 1994. The 3 CD’s are filled with songs and maybe unexpected sound-collages. Though, every part (the Picture, the Ambience, the Song) is self-contained and applies itself to its own theme by always warm and pointed acoustic sounds. With strong and catchy melodies, which can easily be described as fordable, instrumental pop songs, every track offers melodies that instantly reach your ear. From easygoing chillout to Café del Mar-like beach-sounds a large variety of songs is offered, whose substance has been  staged perfectly and which is still up-to-date.

The album has been remastered with high technical effort and the artwork has been replaced.
